Outside police headquarters near downtown Dallas, nearly a thousand people came to demand justice for black Americans who have been killed by officers in recent weeks.

Protesters began marching away from police headquarters towards downtown Dallas. Things got heated near the intersection of Lamar and Griffin where tear gas was thrown at protesters. A DART bus was also vandalized.
