Hey y’all! In this episode of Big Dallas Energy I discuss the state of Texas opening up business doors for the first time since a worldwide pandemic began. Dallas’ shelter in place order began March 17th, 2020.

Just to be clear, only a few types of businesses are allowed to open at a 25% capacity on May 1st, 2020: retailers, restaurants, and movie theatres, but they are not required to let anyone in. Some business owners are still taking precautions by extending the date until they’ll accept people to come in.

I also discuss the businesses not yet (legally) allowed to reopen, and what one Dallas salon owner, Shelley Luther, is doing about it.

I’m personally hoping this is one step closer to normality.

I hope you and your loved ones are safe and healthy! Thanks for watching.
